The Pinot Noir or, in dialect, Blauburgunder, is a vine of clear French origins, namely Burgundy, which for more than 100 years has found its second homeland in Alto Adige. The grapes for the production of this wine grow on the fertile lands of the Bassa Atesina and Bolzano, in a favorable microclimate characterized by constant ventilation, which allows to create a typically Alto Adige Pinot Nero, structured and elegant, with a firm and proud character. A perfect interpreter of the territory and here expertly managed by the Bolzano Winery, since 2001 an excellent master of quality South Tyrolean wines.
Bright ruby red color and good transparency. The nose reveals delicate and fruity aromas of cherry, plum and raspberry, along with floral sensations of dried violet and licorice, as well as spicy and toasted tones of cloves and tobacco. The taste is structured but velvety, of great refinement, where to master it is the perfect amalgam of tannin, integrated in an educational way, towards a closure full of spicy returns.
It is an excellent accompaniment for main courses based on beef, wild game and semi-mature cheeses.
