Among the international vines, known and processed also here in Italy and which found their home in Alto Adige (area where it is characterized by its steady and widespread diffusion), Pinot Noir is certainly among the most difficult to grow and vinify; Capricious grapes that require particular microclimatic conditions and soil, also want great skills on the part of both the agronomist and the winemaker to better express all its peculiarities. The Ludwig, already winner of the 12th Italian Competition of Pinot Noir 2013 stands out for his great personality and for the beautiful minerality, synonymous with symbiosis with the terroir that nourishes him.
Beautiful transparent garnet, it shows evident notes of jam of red fruits and spices, tobacco, coffee and undergrowth tones. Tasty and refined, it is soft and pleasantly sapid, with velvety tannins and long mineral persistence.
Perfect with a kid baked with potatoes, with wild game and, if you like to venture chill down the serving temperature and serve it with a fish soup.
