And be on the safe side

The Batasiolo company, or Beni di Batasiolo, was founded in 1978 by the Dogliani family. Today it is the largest winery in the Langhe and has 107 hectares of vineyards, divided among the best Piedmontese crus. The word "goods" means a "good" in the sense of "possession", that is why the name of Beni di Batasiolo is a way of being ancient in these parts, an indissoluble link between man and the vineyard. Conducting wisely this winery is the oenologist Paolo Pronzato who, using the latest technologies of the latest generation, is able to give life to the wonderful wines of the Langhe. Of course, the land is lucky here, the Langhe is a place of worship recognized worldwide for the production of wine, even heritage of humanity, but we talk about ancient business, historical, who knew how to believe and invest at the right moment and the results are now evident since years. The Barbera in particular, wine and historic vine of this land, represents tradition for excellence and with its simplicity and nevertheless elegance it confirms itself each year as a "firm" wine, a safe choice, which meets the taste of anyone who tries it. With Barbera d'Asti you do not run the risk of making mistakes!

The colour is intense ruby red, with garnet highlights and good consistency. The nose is intense, with fruity notes of blackberry and blueberries, a note of orange peel, bergamot and a closure of nutmeg and black pepper. To the taste the freshness bursts, with a good body and a slightly savoury wake. Excellent persistence played on fruity returns. To be paired with antipasti with cured meats, risotto with sausage and cheeses of good seasoning.

Perfect also with a dish of agnolotti butter and sage.

Nell'antico dialetto locale la parola "beni" sta a significare il possedimento, la tenuta, un no...
