Sandrone is a family company, efficient and tidy, that has managed to achieve success over the years, thus carving out a strong national and international image and its wines, all produced with native grapes, represent the strong roots in the Langarolo territory. Barbera is probably the most cultivated and well-known grape in all Piedmont; originally from the Monferrato, in the last century it spread quickly also to the area of Alba. A versatile grape with great productivity, it requires a certain skill in its cultivation and, given its organoleptic characteristics, also in the cellar practices. This Barbera d'Alba is, in fact, a wine that is not twisted or concentrated in the vinification phase, a very delicate phase where wood is used with moderation not to alter the typicality of the grapes, but to give only and exclusively balance and elegance, without betraying substance and structure.
Bright purple, it has generous aromas rich in red fruit and undergrowth, with pepper, liquorice and coffee. Great depth and vigour to taste, it has body and flavour, freshness and light tannins. Neat final.
Versatile match that goes from pasta and chickpeas to risotto with radicchio and taleggio cheese, from skewers of lamb to wild boar in salmì.
