The maison Mumm sees its beginning in 1827 in Reims and, more precisely, in the Rue de la Grosse Bouteille; emblematic the name of this old address, especially if we then see the Magnum format of this bottle! Recognizable ever since the characteristic red band that adorns the label, which was inspired by the emblem of the Legion of Honour, one of the highest honours of the French state, the champagne Mumm has always stood out for its clean style and quality. Produced by the assembly of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from as many as 77 different crus it is a passe-par-tout for all events.
Bright gold in colour, it has a nose characterized by evident fruity and citrus aromas of grapefruit followed by vanilla, honey and brioche. It has a good freshness to the taste, it is pleasantly fruity and with a discreet mineral trail.
Excellent for an aperitif, it goes well with delicate dishes with seafood or white meats, semi-aged cheeses and vegetable fries.
