When in 1968 Bernard de Nonacourt decided to put this particular Cuvée Rosé on the market, he thought that to exalt it, he had to change the type of bottle that contained it. No longer the classic little champagne by now already too coarse, but a more graceful bottle, characterized by almost feminine curves. Pink is the label, pink is the elegant case that contains the bottle, pink is the colour that the Pinot Noir gives to this excellent champagne.
It captures the gaze with a bright gold-pink that turns to salmon, with a very fine and persistent perlage, opening on notes of wild strawberries, black currant, black cherry, followed by aromatic herbs and silica, pan-brioche and acacia honey. At the sip the freshness is surprising, almost sharp, with dominant fruity returns afterwards. A very long final.
Versatile champagne, it goes perfectly with the whole meal; perfect with smoked salmon and raw shellfish.
