In the beginning it was the Nebbiolo, one of the most important and well-known black berry grapes in the world, so called for the high concentration of pruina in the grape skin, which veils it slightly making it seem wrapped in fog. Elegant, demanding, and rich in acidity, a dowry that gives it great aging potential, Nebbiolo gives life to complex and fundamental wines like Barolo but also to simpler, enjoyable and usable expressions, like this DOC Della Marmora, a wine with a rich personality and an immediate pleasant taste, a reliable taste with a good quality-price ratio.
Ruby red colour with garnet veins, with beautiful transparency, the nose expresses notes of small red fruits in alcohol, violets and cyclamen, along with dark spicy tones of black pepper and juniper berries. The taste has an excellent fruity incisiveness, with freshness and tannins in evidence but well cohesive and a rather long and just savoury finish, reminiscent of mint chocolate.
Delicious with first courses with meat sauce, with roasted red meats and medium-structured cheeses.
