A great wine in a large format, which worthily represents the characteristic DOC Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, managing not to get lost, or rather, managing to stand out for the great transposition of the territory in the glass. Size and quality are the characteristics of this wine, which vineyard enjoys perfect sun exposure and the beneficial effects of temperature range, guarantee of organoleptic balance and aromatic amplitude. A span higher than many other wines of the appellation, Dente del Lupo is a didactic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo: structured and with that rather gruffy character that you do not mind but, above all, able to further amplify its aroma profile if left in the cellar for some time.
Concentrated ruby red with an olfactory profile played on notes of potpourri, cherry jam and wild red fruit with dark damp earth and black pepper in the background. The taste is creamy, opulent and rather soft, well balanced by the remarkable tannins, with a persistence played on long toasted and roasted notes.
Excellent with cheeses of an important seasoning and with a stew with red wine.
