Cultivated in the North-East of Italy for many years, Pinot Grigio has found its ideal habitat in this area, thanks to the sandy soils and to the calcareous and clayey substratum as well as to the mild and temperate climate. All this causes the acidity of the berry, at the time of maturation, to be more contained, giving the counterpart a sapidity with an elegant texture, softness and structure. Witness and interpreter of this small corner of the world is the Pinot Grigio Nord Est Martòn, a wine with character and very convincing taste, exuberant and without any roughness, perfect all year round!
Bright straw yellow, it has a typical and varietal nose with aromas of peach, pear and musk, along with sweet notes of hawthorn and acacia honey. The taste is soft, inviting and structured in the savory backbone that accompanies a polite finish, rich in minerality and good persistence.
Excellent with grilled squid but also as an aperitif.
