Prosecco Bernabei DOCG is obtained from Glera grapes, commonly called Prosecco, harvested and vinified in the DOCG territory which includes fifteen municipalities in an area of about twenty thousand hectares in the province of Treviso, in the hills that divide Conegliano from Valdobbiadene. This area, which enjoys a favourable climate, is the most suitable for this captivating and jovial sparkling wine. Disengaged, fresh and pleasant it is the ideal companion for an aperitif or to accompany an informal toast. The extra dry version is the traditional one, with a residual sugar content between 12 and 17 grams/litre, which has made it famous throughout the world.
Straw yellow in colour, the perlage is formed by fine and persistent bubbles that enliven it giving the glass a touch of brilliance and brio. The nose reveals the fruity note of pear in attack and white peach along with the floral scents of lavender and acacia, with a citrus note in the background. The taste is striking for its immediacy in fruity references and balance. Good ending supported by a stimulating acid vein.
Excellent as an aperitif or served alongside fresh cheeses.
