Description

Puglia: land of great rosés

It is no secret that Puglia is a great land for quality rosé wines, thanks to the sea breezes and fresh native red grape varieties that can reach perfect ripeness, preserving the unmistakable mineral character made of proper freshness and flavor. The Pettorosa is born from this union linked by the tradition of the autochthonous Negroamaro and the innovation of the Masseria Spaccafico, a young business reality of Salento. This wine tells its story through its origins, its qualitative identity and versatility, managing to enter into the taste memory and in the heart of those who drink it, it arouses emotion and surprise.

Bright and lively rosé color, with an intense fragrance of wild strawberry and raspberry on the nose, together with splashes of pink grapefruit and softer notes of violet and lavender, in a mineral background. The taste is fresh and lively, properly sapid and full-bodied, very pleasant in the fruity references that also characterize a good persistence.

Excellent as an aperitif, reserve pleasant surprises with risotto with seafood, mullet in stew, cacciucco and stuffed calamari, but also with cold cuts.
