Immense Pleasure

An unmistakable label that depicts a gold-colored eight-pointed star, against a background of intense cobalt blue, a minimal elegance that has always dressed and enclosed what is, in all likelihood, the greatest Italian red wine. All remain stunned when they see a bottle of Sassicaia, myth and piece of art, which has had the merit of writing the history of the Bordeaux cut (Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) in Tuscany, starting the use of the barrique and replacing the Sangiovese where this could not express itself adequately. A value that is to be discovered and tasted at least once in a lifetime, in the Magnum format then ... let the party start!

Ruby red with light garnet glints. The nose has fresh balsamic notes that lead to tones of undergrowth and wet earth, along with fruity hints of wild berries, sandalwood, rose and salty puffs. The mouth is full and tasty, in perfect fusion of sharp flavour and decisive freshness, with a perfectly integrated tannin that accompanies a very long, almost infinite end of menthol.

Great wine for important red meat dishes, game, very aged cheeses but also a great example for meditation

Tenuta San Guido è il prestigioso simbolo del made in Italy in campo enologico, orgoglio del vino italiano in tutto il mondo. Nessuno prima di Mario Incisa della Rocchetta aveva mai osato produrre un "vino bordolese" su terreno italiano, men che meno in una zona sconosciuta dal punto di vista vinicolo come quella di Bolgheri.
