This Valpolicella Ripasso comes from traditional grapes grown in the Valpolicella Classica and its style, enveloping and disengaged, defines a true model of elegance, refinement and, at the same time, sobriety. Harmony between the aromatic sensations and a taste structure well distributed between alcohol and body, are the winning cards of Ripasso, so called because "repassed" on the pomace of Amarone (ripasso style), which is usually considered the younger brother. Nevertheless, Per Te certainly does not suffer from an inferiority complex, indeed, as the name itself emphasizes, it is thought to be a gift for all lovers of this sort, the simple and authentic taste of one of the most exclusive designations of our country.
Deep ruby red color, it has a nose that smells of red fruits, pomegranate, cherry and ripe plum, along with sweet sensations of vinosity and spice of nutmeg and cloves, with hints of chocolate and black pepper. The taste is harmonious, full and velvety, in perfect balance between the tannins and the freshness, in a long and delicious finish of chocolate returns.
Excellent with traditional dishes of the vicinity of Verona, such as horse meat pie or lasagnette with truffles, it also marries grilled meat, braised meat and aged cheeses.
