The Vermentino, probably of Spanish origin, is one of the typical vines of Sardinia that found its ideal terroir on the island; grapes typical of the Tyrrhenian Sea, in Sardinia find their maximum expression, thanks to the granite soils which are poor in clay, and the good temperature ranges, a terroir so favorable as to have nevertheless indissolubly linked this vine to the specific region. It produces wines of good structure and alcohol content supported by a complex aromatic fabric. It is a wine with a strong personality, versatile and intense with the typical bitter end of this grape variety.
Straw-yellow color. The nose is bursting with effluvium of yellow peach, sweet banana and tropical fruits along with hints of wild herbs. In the mouth it expresses all its freshness, confirming the olfactory sensations and leaving a pleasant bitter note in the closing.
Excellent on linguine with seafood and also with stewed octopus.
