Campania

Campania is a region that has very ancient winemaking traditions: In fact, it is considered the cradle of Italian viticulture. The wines produced in the Campania region are of the highest level, both those with white grapes and those with red grapes. This rich tradition is certified by the presence of 4 DOCG, 14 DOC and 10 IGT designations. Among the best known wines: Falanghina, Greco (from which Greco di Tufo DOCG is obtained), Fiano, Biancolella and Forastera for whites; Aglianico (which gives rise to Taurasi), Aleatico and Piedirosso for reds.
