Vini Marchigiani

In Marche, the history of viticulture starts well before the advent of the Romans and is probably the oldest in Italy. The vines grown are 60% white and 40% red: among the first stands out the Verdicchio, that is one of the most famous wines of our country also for the characteristic amphora bottle. The red wines are mainly based on Montepulciano and Sangiovese. It is worth mentioning the presence of sparkling wines based on the Vernaccia Nera vine.
