Production can be divided by geographical areas: especially the Langhe, Roero, Asti, Monferrato, Canavese. Among the most famous Piedmontese wines: Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Grignolino, Brachetto. In particular, reds are universally renowned for their body and resistance to aging.
