Piedmont is one of the richest regions when it comes to wine production; a millenary tradition is at the base of the wine making able to give life to products known all over the world. Production can be divided by geographical areas: especially the Langhe, Roero, Asti, Monferrato, Canavese. Among the most famous Piedmontese wines: Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Grignolino, Brachetto. In particular, reds are universally renowned for their body and resistance to aging. In addition to these, Piedmont presents a series niche of products of very high quality but not very well known, which enhance local production.
