Veneto

Veneto is one of the most prolific Italian regions in terms of wine production in Italy; the vines are cultivated in the flat area as well as in the hills and give life to wines of excellent quality, both white and red. Among the most renowned wines, Bardolino, Soave, Valpolicella Doc, Tai, which up until recently was known as Tocai and the white of Conegliano. A must for wine enthusiasts from Friuli is Prosecco, a white wine with Denomination of Controlled Origin produced in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. To date, it is the most exported wine abroad.
