From the foundation in 1142 up to today, 57 abbots have succeeded at the head of the Abbey of Novacella to whom are dedicated the wines of the Praepositus line, which are produced with particularly selected grapes, coming from the vineyards located in the best exposures. Labels like this are good for the heart, because they faithfully reproduce the canons of demeanor and personality of the Abbey, a model of grace and aromatic depth; wines able to give vent to their whole character without ever being heavy or homologated, as well as being protagonists of a wide commercial target.
Straw yellow dazzling, the nose opens the dance with sensations of kiwi, passion fruit and rennet apple, along with fresher notes of lime and grapefruit, to turn then to ginger and honey, with puffs mineral pyrical powder. The sip is catchy, calibrated to the millimeter and insisting with a thousand olfactory references, with a precise, neat and clean closure on white and lime flowers.
Excellent with grilled scampi, baked turbot or shrimp and saffron gnocchetti.
