Made from the native grapes Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, grown in the classic territory of Valpolicella, with the traditional method of drying in the fruit cellar, Amarone certainly needs no introduction! With a fairly recent history, it has managed to climb the summit in just a few decades, becoming one of the most prestigious wines in Italy and in the world. Rooted in the strong oenological tradition of Valpolicella, the Passo del Bovaro is a tribute and, at the same time, a modern reinterpretation of a mythical, powerful, demanding and muscular wine, but above all, with a great quality/price ratio!
Intense and impenetrable garnet red color, it presents complex aromas of black cherry in spirit and dried plum, floral of dried violet and a multitude of sweet spices in which vanilla, cloves and cinnamon follow each other, with hints of toasting. The sip is bursting, structured and at the same time incredibly soft, caressed by a velvety tannin that leads to a long final of mon cherie.
Ideal with all types of grilled red meat, braised meat, game and aged cheeses.
