The primary purpose of the Della Marmora line is to respect tradition, recreating wines that know how to be witnesses of their land of origin, telling its long history and solemn philosophy in their total authenticity. The Barbera d'Alba, wine and historical vine of this land, the daily protagonist of the Piedmontese table, considered the house wine, stands out in the rich business battery; produced within the DOC Alba, the Barbera Della Marmora ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and then bottled, resulting in a wine perfectly enjoyable in everyday life and ready to drink in the current year but able to offer pleasant surprises for the next 3 years.
Ruby red color with vivid purple reflections, the nose reveals young, fresh and fruity hints of grape juice, blackberry and blueberries, with feelings of mint, undergrowth as well as of mineral in the background. The taste is particularly enveloping, soft and mellow, with a fresh and lively flavor, it is easy to drink.
Accompanies the whole meal perfectly, it is excellent with butter agnolotti.
