The birth of this maison is due to the initiative of two immigrants of Napoleonic Prussia: William Deutz, merchant and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, seller of champagne. Their adventure began in Aÿ in 1838; buying cuvée already bottled which then was proceeded to disgorging, dosing, corking and relabelling. Since that distant day, five generations of the same family have followed one another and, to date, the maison Deutz is considered one of the leading companies in the French and international champagne market.
Glittery golden yellow in colour with very fine and persistent perlage. Nose characterized by evident fruity notes and white flowers, citrus peel and hazelnut, brioche bread and acacia honey. On the palate great freshness and balance, delicately sapid and with a fine citrus persistence.
Ideal companion for dishes based on fish or white meats, perfect also with medium-aged cheeses or with a delicate vegetable fry.
