130 million years ago the extension of the Apennines formed the areas of Salento, the promontory of the Gargano and the Murgia, the latter particularly marked by the hand of man for its favorable morphological conditions. In this enchanting setting lies Tormaresca, an Apulian reality of the Marquises Antinori, on clayey-calcareous soils that can enhance the native varieties but also express the international ones. This is the case of the Chardonnay Pietrabianca, which takes its name from the particular shape of the soil where the vine sinks its roots: intense and elegant, hot as the south but linear as the north; icing on the cake: organic wine!
Bright golden yellow, has a complex and elegant nose that is expressed with aromas of exotic fruit, yellow grapefruit and lime, followed by shades of ginger and mint, with toasted tones of hazelnuts and almonds on a mineral background. The taste is soft, enveloping and well balanced between a strong freshness and flavor in a long finish between exotic fruit and fresh almond.
Excellent with baked sea bream or grilled calamari.
